Présentation
Whether writing it, composing it or just playing it, Baptdude is downright all about Rock music. He was introduced to bass guitar playing by his father in his early age and grew up to the rhythms and sounds of the masters, from Led Zeppelin to Black Sabbath and Bob Dylan...This guitar aficionado is bound to become a reference of the new rock scene.
Baptdude has been around on both sides of the Ocean, building up a rich musical identity along his journeys from his many influences. English might be his favoured language, but he still managed to preserve that romantic flavour from his native France.
Widely self-taught, Baptdude piled up on experience out of hard work and unfaltering passion. Be it with his band or solo, together with his oldest friends or his only guitar, he has been writing, singing and playing music with enjoyment as his core principle.
As he was scouring the landscape of the Parisian concert bars, he stumbled upon those crazy young dudes who were about to create a music label. On both professional and personal levels, their crossing was a success. With the birth of the Redpill Studios early 2006, Baptdude, age 27, recorded his first album ‘On my Cloud' with his crew, the B-sides.
In love with love, fiercely optimistic, Baptdude sets to fight the looming graveness of our time his own way. Simple and authentic, he is a million light-years away from the stereotype of the tormented rocker. He set out to deliver the unexpected, singing about hope and beauty while amalgamating sounds and mingling genres. One thing is for sure: Baptdude & the B-sides is a mixture that will not go unnoticed.
